The law school project, Laurel Law School, is inspired by the ideals of fairness and justice, as well as the architectural character of the surrounding buildings. The design takes shape from the unique triangular site, blending geometric precision and curves for a welcoming environment. The structure is made of concrete, and the exterior comprises precast concrete panels, steel, and glass. This building and the materials used symbolize the law and power. The circular form representing inclusivity and openness intersects with the sharp, defined lines of a triangle, symbolizing strength and direction. The welcoming curve at the entrance invites people into the space and inner courtyard, reflecting the project’s core values of approachability and fairness. This interplay of shapes creates a design that feels both grounded in its environment and forward-thinking, balancing the historic and modern architectural elements of the site, such as the CIGI Campus and perimeter building. Like its name, Laurel Law School, which means justice and fairness, the project seeks to flow seamlessly within its context, embodying justice, adaptability, and connection.
